State Rep. Reynolds Runs for Re-election

State Representative Ron Reynolds (D-Fort Bend County Texas, District 27) announced his intention to run for another term in September of 2015. Rep. Reynolds Releases a Statement Regarding the Passage of SB 158 Related to a Body Worn Camera Program

AUSTIN -- Texas House Democratic Whip Ron Reynolds released the following statement regarding the passage of SB 158: "Body cameras are now a reality in the state of Texas. This historic legislation paves the way for police departments throughout the state to equip their officers with body cameras," said Rep. Reynolds. "SB 158 was passed today, and is set to become law pending Governor Abbott's signature. I want to thank Senator Royce West for his leadership and tireless work in getting the bill passed through the senate. My body camera bill, HB 474 was a near identical bill. This was one of my top legislative priorities coming into this session.



Rep. Reynolds Passes HB 2599 to Utilize Local Sales Tax Revenue to Build or Improve Roads in Fort Bend County

AUSTIN -- Representative Reynolds recently passed House Bill 2599, which will allow a County Assistance District to build or improve county and state roads within city limits with local sales tax revenue.



Rep. Reynolds Releases Statement Regarding Supreme Court Ruling on Gay Marriage

Texas House Democratic Whip Ron Reynolds released the following statement today regarding the Supreme Court's ruling on gay marriage: "Let me be clear, I'm a proud Christian family man that is married to my wife and have three children," said Rep.
